By using any app, web service, or website operated under the BestPaid brand (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 (or the digital consent age in your jurisdiction). You must have legal capacity to enter contracts. If you're using it on behalf of an organization, you must be authorized to bind it.
3. Account
Some features require an account. You're responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at support@bestpaid.app.
4. Subscription, billing, refunds
- Every Service is paid-only. Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency where supported.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled.
- Cancel anytime — for iOS in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; for web in your account page.
- Refunds: web subscriptions refundable within 14 days if you used less than 10% of your tier's quota that period. iOS subscription refunds are handled by Apple per their policy.
- Payment processed by our Merchant of Record (Polar.sh). They are the seller of record and handle VAT/sales tax for your jurisdiction.
5. What you can do
You may use the Service for lawful purposes — personal or commercial — within the limits of your subscription tier. You may export your own data at any time.
6. What you cannot do
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to access internals not exposed by the documented API.
- Use the Service to send spam, illegal content, malware, or content that violates third-party rights.
- Resell access without written permission.
- Bypass payment, rate limits, or quota.
- Use the Service to build a directly competing product (for SaaS dev tools specifically).
7. Your content
You own the content you submit (JSON you paste, palettes you save, regex you build, photos you upload, etc.). You grant us a limited license to process it as needed to deliver the Service. We don't use your content to train AI models. We don't share it with third parties except as needed to deliver the Service (e.g., the cloud provider hosting your account data).
8. Our content
The Service itself (code, UI, brand, documentation) is our intellectual property. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service while your subscription is active.
9. Availability
We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime but don't guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance when possible. We're not liable for downtime caused by your network, your device, or your payment processor.
10. Termination
You can cancel anytime. We can suspend or terminate your account for: violation of these terms, non-payment, fraud, abuse, or if we discontinue the Service (in that case we'll refund any unused prepaid amount).
11. Disclaimer & liability cap
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by EU consumer-protection law where it gives you stronger rights than Cyprus residency. For commercial customers: governing law per Cyprus at the time of contract. Disputes go to small-claims court for amounts under €5,000 and to general courts otherwise. You can also use the EU ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Changes
We'll email subscribers and post a notice at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
